Programme Opportunities

Who is it for?

Go-Gap is open to 18-30 year olds of any nationality. Go-gap volunteers ('Go-gappers') serve for 6 or 12 months at one of our 3 centres in England. With over 100,000 visitors to our centres every year, our Go-Gap staff team helps make the centre run by cleaning the facilities, serving food, and maintaining the appearance of site.

Our centres are like small, international communities. Go-Gappers live and work on-site, serving the many guests who come to use our facilities. Housing and meals are provided, and a small cash allowance is given to pay for your daily living expenses. Outside of working hours, Go-Gappers can take part in our organized Bible studies, English classes, or other fun programmes; or many choose to simply relax in staff lounges or explore the local area. Many Go-Gappers use their days off to travel and explore the UK and Europe.

Detailed information about our programme can be found by downloading our English brochure here.

“To describe with words what I've experiences at Pioneer isn?t as easy as it might sound! Pioneer is an amazing place. People from many different places and backgrounds living together - slightly isolated from the rest of the world - is a wicked a combination. Not only do you learn a lot about other countries and cultures, but working with people different than yourself opens your eyes to who YOU really are! Both experiences are amazing, you might not realize that it's going on while you live there, but going home made me realize how special an experience I've actually had.”
